About the event

Dear Friends of Villa 61,

food is magic, it manages to awaken memories of the past with its aromas and flavors and at the same time it also manages to make people travel and discover new cultures.

I propose you for our new Tea Time, a very special experience, a culinary journey between Paris and Moscow! As you know, I am French and Olga is Russian and it seemed very interesting to us to be able to celebrate this union on the occasion of Orthodox Easter, since these two cultures, although different, have always been intertwined and inspired by each other.

So it was for the famous Café Pouchkine, maize of excellence present both in Moscow and Paris, famous for their culinary specialties, small Franco-Russian jewels in which the best dishes and desserts of the Russian tradition are reworked with a French accent. And it is from them that Olga and I were inspired for this Tea Time.

For those who don't already know her, Olga is an expert pastry chef who has been working in this world for years, participating in several courses with the greatest pastry chefs in all of Europe (see her bio below and her instagram profile @kapelkappa).

We offer you this culinary journey to share with friends or as a couple, to celebrate and treat yourself to a unique experience, a journey of the highest quality taste that will touch Paris and Moscow, in a real journey of the senses. Take a seat and we will take care of everything, fine infusions and teas, bubbles to toast and the delights of Cafe Pouchkine, expertly prepared by Olga, waiting for you to take you on this journey between Russian culture and the French palate.

You will be guided by Olga in this tasting and she will explain the flavors and textures that make up these wonders: we will taste the Opera with blueberries and lavender, the famous Tartelette aux citrons Cafe Pouchkine, their famous Medovik, the tarte Fraisier of the Café Pouchkine, with its famous white chocolate dome, a marvel! Then the traditional Russian dessert of Orthodox Easter, the Kulich, a selection of exceptional truffles and finally the savory part, with Russian Borodinsky bread bruschetta and orange pate bonbons ... I don't know about you but I just write all this I'm already traveling and looking forward to these delights, with the curiosity to know new surprising flavors to which we are certainly not used, all while staying here!

The Tea Time will begin at 16.00 with tables prepared with cups and delicate teapots, flowers, background music, precious and elegant cakes, delicacies balanced in shapes and colors, a greedy break of aesthetic beauty and an immense pleasure for the palate, all immersed in a scenography designed ad hoc for this event.

Don't miss out on this unique culinary journey!

We are waiting for you!
